Where to take photos around Orlando

As you develop your photographer’s eye, you’ll find you can make good photographs wherever you are, as long as the light it right. That having been said, here are a few destinations to go to photograph all kinds of different things, keeping in mind this is far from a comprehensive list:

Disney Springs. Great place for the street photographer.

Orlando Wetlands Park Fantastic spot for wildlife photography, free admission.

Kraft Azalea Gardens Lakefront park with cypress trees, azalea bushes, and more.

Leu Gardens a botanical gardens with an entrance fee.

Mead Botanical Garden, free to public garden in Winter Park.

Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge 45,000 acres of photo opportunities

Tosahatchee Wildlife Management Area Over 30,000 acres of undeveloped land along the St. Johns River.

Lake Apopka North Shore A 20,000 acre haven for wildlife.
