Our club was formally organized in 2010 and we are now well-known and actively involved in documenting local community events around Oviedo. Club membership includes beginners, advanced amateurs, and professionals, using everything from smartphones to point and shoot cameras to mirrorless cameras to full frame DSLRs. We all enjoy sharing our different photographic styles, techniques, successes, and failures for the benefit of all.

We provide an opportunity for members to improve their skills through educational activities, one-on-one mentoring, workshops, field trips, and photography of community events. One of our many commitments is to photographically document the four major annual events sponsored by the Oviedo Recreation and Parks Department along with other city events.

We publish our event photography on Zenfolio where it can be downloaded and used for free. We do ask that if published the Oviedo Photo Club receives credit for the photo.  Zenfolio is also available for all members to create both public and non-public person galleries for their work.
