It’s been a busy few weeks, and it’s not slowing down.  But, now that we have made our club presence known, we can be more selective in the Events we cover.

Lately, we had a field trip to Southern Oaks Training Center to watch the horses get ready for their summer races. This weekend we covered the Oviedo Police Foundation Golf Outing and the Sham-Rock ‘n Run for HOPE.

Thanks to Barbara Forrest and Lamar Thames for helping with golf, and Margie Sloane, Rich Polaski and Jerry Hoppmann for their work at the 5k for HOPE.

And then there is the Oviedo Winter Springs Life cover story this month. Wow!
A huge SHOUT OUT to Margie for setting that up.  It’ll be interesting to see if that has any effect on club membership.
