The Geneva Cemetery at the end of Cemetery Road in Geneva has several Civll War Burial sites. And don't miss the Rural Heritage Museum at 101 East Main Street in Geneva. There are several historic churches and homes in the area. I can recommend the Jolly Gator Fish Camp for a meal after you finish exploring Geneva. It is approximately 5 miles to the east on 46.

ED YARBOROUGH NATURE CENTER

 GENEVA WILDERNESS AREA

The Geneva Wilderness Area is a 180 acre site on SR 426 near the community of Geneva where you'll find many native Florida plants and a diverse collection of wildlife. A hike through these habitats can reward visitors with the sighting of gopher tortoise, white-tailed deer, wild turkey, grey fox, sandhill cranes, wading birds, owls, hawks, and many other bird species. The Ed Yarborough Nature Center hosts many nature and environmental programs.  Coming up in January are Beginning Bird-Watching courses on Saturday the 16th, Sunday the 17th,  and Saturday the 23rd.  Other courses and programs are offered during the year.  Of particular interest to some are the childrens's nature programs that are frequently offered. Their website - here - provides additional information.  If you'd like to be on their mailing list for future programs, make the request at LHartsock@seminolecountyfl.gov
